Showcased by Josie Rockett
Here is Lucy. Lucy was produced by Deans between 1957 and 1961, she has her rare Deans Childsplay Baby Safe label that was only used for a short time. She is a lovely teddy and is a good example of the evolving Deans bear, facially she still resembles the early bears but her plastic safety eyes and mohair/wool blend fur are more like bears from the 60s. She measures 22 inches long, is soft stuffed probably with sub stuffing and has lovely grey velveteen pads.
