Very Special Early Antique Chiltern Bear “Jeffrey”
Jeffrey is an absolutely stunning large antique Chiltern bear (no label), a lovely big cuddly 21 inches in height. He’s an early Chiltern bear dating to the 1930s with original clear glass eyes, early raised corner nose stitching, three good strong original pads and one old replacement felt pad (he’s showing you this in one of the photos ). Jeffrey has areas of balding but overall good clean coverage for his great age. He’s been stored away for well over 50 years so joints are all stiff and creaky from non use but he still sits nicely and poses well. Non working growler in his tummy. Overall lovely clean condition for such an early ted, even more handsome in real life!
