Frazer has a side label. He was made in the 1950’s by Lefray in Great Britain. He is 13″/33cm standing, and is filled with a soft filling. He has jointed arms, legs and head, has amber plastic eyes and his stitched nose and mouth are original. There was a squeaker in his body but it was very damaged so I removed it to prevent the metal from piercing his mohair.

His coat is soft mohair in a soft gold colour. It is quite thick with some bald patches here and there, but no holes. His velvet paws and feet pads are in good condition, although they are not as bright as they once would have been.
The Lefray bears of this era are such funny characters and are becoming very popular with collectors.
