Rare Teddy Baby, circa early 1930s. Authenticated by Cramer expert Patricia Loncle.16″ tall, Original eyes, mouth and nose stitching–just a few middle stitches missing from nose, Classic Cramer red buttonhole mouth–very vibrant colour. Original cardboard-lined feet–you can see stitching around the feet around the seams; it looks like a bit of repair work, with someone darning up the seams Original paw and foot pads: One paw pad has a replacement insert (nearly the size of a two-pence piece) Original claw/paw stitching all intact Golden mohair–coverage about 30-40% but somehow the mohair loss doesn’t detract from his beauty, partly because the fabric backing is the same golden colour.Kapok/woodwool stuffing. The stuffing has shifted so that he slumps a bit, especially around neck. Fully five way jointed. His head is a bit wobbly. Beautiful hump on back Inoperative squeaker He’s a rare bear, with huge personality and charm, as you can see from the photos! He’s completely display-ready.
