Honey a rare Aetna teddy bear circa 1908,with blonde mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black cloth heart shaped nose, black stitched mouth, swivel head jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and card lined feet, hump and inoperative squeaker 11in. (28cm.) high (balding around left arm on body, general wear and thinning and missing nose stitching) – Aetna Toy Animal Company was founded in 1901 in New York. From 1906 until 1915 they sold the Aetna-bear, which was originally called the Keystone-bear.
