Offset 45 degree bend Flue Pipe

This ready made 45 offset has been designed tochangethe direction of the flue at the permitted angle by building regulation, reducing the number of joints in the flue.

Connection

Vitreous Enamelled flue parts have a male connection to push fit inside the pipe or stove outlet below to ensure deposits within the pipes run down into the stove and do not escape. The male connection is always fitted facing downwards as pictured. It is advisable to seal all single wall joints with a suitable high temperature sealant. It is safe to cut single wall flue down to size for a perfect fit.

Construction

Made of laser welded steel and also vitreous enamelled on the inside (total thickness of the steel + enamel 1.2 mm), this guarantees the resistance and stability of the colour even at very high temperatures classified as class T600, the highest according to EN1856-2

Regulations

Designed for internal use, it is against regulations to pass single wall flue through any surfaces due to the heat emitted from the pipe. The safe clearance to combustibles is three times the diameter of the flue or one and a half times the diameter to non-combustibles. It is advised to limit a run of single wall flue to 2000mm to prevent the loss of heat through the pipe which can lead to flue gases dropping.
