On the J mug, Moominmamma has stitched Ninny, the invisible child, a dress and a hair ribbon to make her more noticeable. The illustrations are based on the book of short stories Tales from Moominvalley and the novel Moominpappa at the Sea.

The Alphabets Collection by Moomin Arabia aims to encourage us to create new and meaningful words. The collection is created in collaboration with Reading, Writing and the Moomins an initiative by Moomin Characters bringing various organisations, publishers, libraries, and license holders together to spread the joy of reading and writing in the lives of children, youth, and adults.
