Antique American 16″ BMC Apricot Bear c 1907, Mr Bruin. He has apricot mohair and a piece of his BMC label on his foot pad. These bears were only made for a short period of time around 1907. Mr Bruin has the following Bruin Manufacturing Company features: Small rounded ears set wide apart on head give a fox-like appearance, shoe-button eyes, five claws (few missing on foot), vertically stitched nose, long arms, felt pads and large oval feet. Combination of excelsior and kapok with non-working squeaker. The quality of this bear measures that of Steiff however, he is even more rare.
