1940s/50s Merrythought Antique Bear “Mary” with Label

Mary is a beautiful old English Merrythought antique teddy bear with excellent Merrythought label retained to foot. She dates to the 1940s/50s, Mary is 17 inches in height with original glass eyes, nose, mouth, claw stitching and good strong original felt pads. Mary’s mohair is quite sparse and tummy squeaker no longer works but overall good clean condition for years and all joints are nice and tight. Mary looks adorabe in her antique lace “scarf”, she’s a lovely old bear for display.
