This is Marmaduke a circa 1930’s Merrythought teddy bear.With golden mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth, feet claws and webbed hand claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with brushed cotton pads, slight hump, inoperative squeaker, woven label, celluloid covered button in ear and a babies hooded cardigan 21in. (53.5cm.) high (slight wear and thinning, a little faded and discoloured)
