SOLD1938-52 Chad Valley teddy bear. ‘Mr Valley’ is a lovely little Chad Valley teddy bear, standing at just over 14″ from the tips of his toes to the tips of his ears. He is five ways jointed with all his joints working smoothly and he is stuffed with kapok in his body and wood wool in his head. His overall condition is quite good and he has retained almost all of his original features, apart from his amber and black plastic eyes of which he only has one! He has velveteen paw pads which are in fair condition with surface wear and he still retains the Chad Valley label outline on his left foot dating him to 1938-52. He has another label under his arm. He has a covering of his blond mohair with some overall thinning and some small bare areas, but I would estimate he still retains about 60-65% coverage.
