Papyrus is an extremely rare Moritz Pappe musical bear. He has had very loving handling and is in superb condition, the yellowy blond mohair is long and soft. He is a jointed bear with a Swiss Music Box with a bellows mechanism which plays when you squeeze his tummy. He has lovely big glass eyes and is in fantastic condition. His felt pads and paws have 4 silk claws stitched closely together.Pappe Moritz bears in this condition are rare.You can see a photo of one very similar in the “German Teddy Bear Encyclopedia” by Jurgen & Marianne Cieslik page 163, photo 625.
